Aviad Moshe, who is accused of attempting to murder Shira Isakov, admitted today (Thursday) for the first time in his charge in the indictment, but claimed that he did not intend to cause her death.

In a response filed in court by his attorney, Advocate Aaron Rosa, he blamed his former wife Shira Isakov for the brutal assault, claiming that her provocations against him on the eve of Rosh Hashanah at their home in Mitzpe Ramon were what caused the whole incident, thus bringing him "Losing control of his actions."

After several delays, the trial of 45-year-old Moshe, who is accused of trying to murder his wife on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, is expected to begin this coming Sunday.

He was first indicted for attempted murder and aggravated assault in aggravated circumstances against his spouse, and later an amended indictment was filed against him, which also charged him with the offense of abusing a minor or helpless person.

This, after at the time of the assault, the couple's son was by Shira's side when she was brutally attacked, both by the rolling pin and by knife stabs.

Moshe left the child near his mother at the time of the attack, despite repeated pleas from her side to move the child away, thus causing suffering to the child, treating him cruelly by forcing him to be present and watching his actions towards his mother, inflicting significant terror on him and frightening him. In the defendant.

It should be noted that Moshe fortified himself to this day in silence, refused to answer the interrogators' questions, did not admit that he caused the severe injuries of shooting with a knife and a rolling pin, nor did he recount the difficult events.

He blamed his partner for everything that preceded the incident, and even claimed that he was the one who was the victim of severe violence on her part.

In recent weeks, his lawyer has been negotiating with the prosecution to bring about a plea bargain in the case, thus bringing about a reduction in his client's sentence. But last week the prosecution decided to reject all attempts to reach a plea deal, announcing that they will work to make the court worse.

In response to the indictment, as stated, Moshe asked the court to waive the process of hearing the testimonies and evidence.

According to him, as he submitted to the court, there is no need for the investigation of the many witnesses in the court.

He further added that he gives his consent to the submission of all the investigation materials collected by the police and the prosecution to the judges, thus eliminating the need to hear the evidence and witnesses.

At the end of the month, Isakov is scheduled to testify in court as a primary witness, in which she will tell about the events of New Year's Eve, when Moshe tried to murder her.

It should be noted that if Aviad's request is accepted by the judges, the testimony of Isakov, as well as his testimony, will be prevented.

In response to the indictment, Moshe admits that he attacked Iscove, but added that he had no intention of murdering her, and that without her provocation, he would not have lost control and would not have harmed her.

"She took every opportunity to insult the defendant, tease him, over and over again, and verbally abuse him," it was alleged.
