At the disposal of the Ravenna Public Prosecutor's Office, police searches were carried out against Claudio Nanni, the ex-husband of 46-year-old Ilenia Fabbri found dead last Saturday in her home in Faenza, in the Ravenna area.

The checks, as well as the residence of the man, concern his auto-workshop also in Faenza.

'Who are you', Ilenia's last cry to the killer

- Very tall, well placed, with big shoulders and dressed in dark.

Here is

the partial identikit

that the police are working on to solve Ilenia Fabbri's mystery.

The description, as reported by some newspapers, was provided by the daughter's friend who was in the apartment that night and who at 6.06, fearing the intrusion of a thief, raised the alarm calling her friend who had just left. to go with the victim's father and ex-husband to a dealership in Milan.

The young witness would first hear these words from the victim: "Who are you? What do you want?", Followed by her cries.

So, before barricading herself in the room, the young woman looked out to see a man from behind down the stairs: it is a person she had never seen before and who at that moment was chasing the victim or was pushing her down.

The young woman heard a few thuds, then the woman's screams stopped.

Hematomas on one shoulder and forehead suggest the results of ruinous falls or a shoe sole: as if the killer had wanted to keep the victim still on the ground to finish it off.

It is hypothesized that the murder weapon could be a flat blade ceramic knife recovered in the kitchen compartment where the woman was found dead.

To confirm this, the final outcome of the autopsy performed on Sunday on behalf of the Prosecutor Angela Scorza will be needed.

But it is not excluded that the killer tried to attack the victim already from the upstairs bedroom with other ways, including strangulation.

The fact that no fingerprints were found suggests the use of gloves, reinforcing the hypothesis of a crime committed by a hired assassin.
