Washington-SANA
Democratic prosecutors have called on US senators to condemn former President Donald Trump of ineligibility for inciting his supporters to attack the Capitol building, warning that he will do the same if he returns to power.
AFP quoted the chief of the prosecution team, Jimmy Raskin, as telling the senators that the attack on the Capitol headquarters that took place on January 6 was a culmination of Trump's actions, not an anomaly.
And Democratic prosecutors confirmed yesterday that Trump was the main instigator of the storming of Congress on January 6 and the violence that accompanied that, which left five people dead.
