Dozens of ration adjustments were recorded by the directorates of internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates of Damascus, Hama and Latakia, in addition to measures taken against violators as part of their follow-up of the state of markets and the work of bakeries and fuel stations.
In the countryside of Damascus, the members of the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate closed down three stations in the Al-Qatifah and Al-Nabek areas, garages, and they are facing offenses for shortage of kilograms and trafficking in diesel fuel and charging an increase in prices.
The officers also seized a shop in the Sayyida Zainab area, whose owner trades in subsidized materials such as gasoline and diesel on the black market. The necessary rationing control was organized and the violating materials were seized until the legal procedures were duly completed.
In Lattakia, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection organized 64 rationing controls that affected the bakeries of Qarafais, Zubar, Burj Islam, and the automatic oven in Jableh, with violations of poor bread manufacturing, lack of weight, tampering with the electronic card, non-compliance with work hours, and accredited people selling bread outside the card and controlling the use of food bread for other than the intended purpose in restaurants. The seizure also involved a heating diesel tank, its owner manipulating the counter manually in Hama, Aleppo Road, by making an opening in the upper section of the counter box with the intention of stealing the quantities sold to the citizens by manually moving the numbers and seizing two people for violating the illegal trade in fuel, expired and unknown sources, food and non-food samples.
