Five Afghan soldiers were killed in an attack by gunmen on a UN convoy on the outskirts of the Afghan capital, Kabul today.
Reuters quoted an official in the Afghan Interior Ministry as saying that unidentified gunmen attacked a convoy of the international organization on the outskirts of Kabul and killed five Afghan security personnel who were escorting the United Nations vehicles.
A person was killed and four others were wounded earlier today, after an explosive device exploded in Nangarhar Province, eastern Afghanistan.
