It wasn't one, not two, not three.
Not even ten.
In total, the forensic doctor who performed the autopsy counted
17 stab wounds
in the body of gay pastor Fabián Kreischer (45), killed in his San Miguel apartment last weekend.
The investigation - which, as
Clarín
said on Wednesday,
ruled out homicide on the occasion of robbery - is now heading down the path
of hate crime
.
Judicial sources confirmed this Thursday that what until yesterday was a cause for "investigation of causes of death", in
the
face of
the overwhelming report of the coroner, it
was recapitulated in an
"aggravated homicide"
for the prosecutor Mirna Sánchez, head of the UFI No. 21 of Malvinas Argentinas.
The pastor was stabbed to death in his San Miguel department.

The crime of the pastor shocks the United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Argentina and Uruguay, of which he was vice president;
as well as the San Pablo de San Miguel congregation, which he presided.
And also to the gay community, for which he was a reference.
The details of his death raised alerts
in the organizations that represent sexual minorities.
Pastor Fabián, who never hid his sexual orientation, living with HIV or his partner - who died in 2018 - was a
militant for the rights of sexual diversity
.
He even published his life story
"Pastor, gay and with HIV?"
in a document from the Lutheran World Federation.
“He was the
first openly gay pastor
to ordain the United Evangelical Lutheran Church.
When he began his practice, he said that he was in a couple and the rest of the pastoral body was scandalized.
He waited patiently.
The people of San Miguel accepted and loved him, because he was a person of integrity, commitment and frontal, ”recalled Gustavo Gómez, Fabian's friend and president of the creed that brings together Argentines and Uruguayans, in consultation with
Clarín
.
The case
The body of the pastor was
found Sunday night
in his apartment in Miguel Angel Delia 1618, in San Miguel, right next to where his church works.
It was Fabián's friends who went to his house, alerted because they had not heard from him all weekend: he
did
not answer the
phone
or respond to WhatsApp messages, something he was always very aware of, according to his relatives.
For this reason, they called 911. The friends had a key to the pastor's house and, as soon as the agents from the 1st Police Station of San Miguel arrived, they gave them to them.
The body was in the room,
bound hand and foot
,
covered with mattresses
, and all bloody.
Farewell to the United Evangelical Lutheran Church
After the crime of Pastor Fabián Kreischer, which occurred at dawn on February 8 in San Miguel.
In the block of Miguel Angel Delia at 1600, where the murdered pastor lived and exercised his creed, there are no municipal security cameras, but there are private ones;
and the investigators work on them: they
look for an image of the murderer
.
Also the victim's cell phone is
key
to the cause.
The only thing that is known is that the last one who saw him alive was a neighbor, on February 5.
The main suspicion about the murderer is directed towards a possible
casual appointment
, arranged by social networks.
"Fabián was not in a relationship, but he exercised his sexuality very freely," Gómez had said about his friend.
Pastor Fabián had lost his partner in 2018, so he used to say that he was a
widower
, and since then he has been alone.
At best, he had casual encounters.
The last two years had not been easy for him.
First her sister died and then, last January, her father.

“I was
sad and dejected by the death of my father
, but with strength and projects, always very optimistic.
He loved the Church, his neighbor, had an absolute dedication and was an activist for rights and diversity ”, Gómez recalled the spirit of the pastor after returning from Misiones, where he spent a lot of time taking care of his father.
Born in Oberá, Misiones, on August 3, 1975, Fabián Kreischer lived there until about two decades ago, when he left his native province to study theology in Buenos Aires and practice his vocation.
Getting to be ordained as pastor of his creed and, not only being in charge of the San Pablo Congregation, but also ascending to the vice-presidency of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church required dedication and effort, but above all,
breaking many prejudices
.
This Thursday, the United Evangelical Lutheran Church issued a statement, signed by Gómez, its president, and addressed "to
all the people and institutions hurt by the death of Fabian
."
Crime of the gay pastor of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church in San Miguel.
The victim's house is next to the temple.
"Whoever was the author of this
cruel and painful
act
of which Fabián, our brother and friend, was a victim, cannot go unpunished," reads a part of the document that
Clarín
accessed
.
And it continues: “As a Church, we have made ourselves available to the prosecution to collaborate with all the resources that are needed.
We
trust that the Justice will carry out its investigation ensuring respect
for the victim ”.
