- Islamism is an ideology of domination which aims to shape and organize society on the basis of values that its advocates call "Islamic", but which contradict democratic constitutional principles and human rights.
It is therefore an antidemocratic ideology, which tends towards absolutism.
It is not just a simple interpretation of Islam practiced privately by its adherents, but a movement which actively seeks the abolition of our values of freedom and democracy.
Islamism sees Islam not only as a religion of spirituality and ethics, but as a declaration of political war against all that
