The streets are deserted.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as they are called in military jargon, are barely audible, let alone visible.
Their missiles can bring death and destruction anytime, anywhere.
After Azerbaijan launched an offensive against Armenia last September - to recover territory lost 30 years ago - the inhabitants of the region lived in anguish for several weeks.
