NASA scientists revealed the presence of a spot on the surface of the sun that may lead to a "huge explosion" within the next few days.
According to the British newspaper the Daily Star, scientists explained that these sunspots are mostly quiet and are the result of intense magnetic activity, but they can lead to solar flares and coronal projectiles, which are clouds of plasma that explode away from the sun and explode over huge distances, causing an increase in energy.
The scientists warned that the large dark spot on the surface of the sun could expand in a way that leads to a solar storm classified as G1, which affects energy processes and satellites and may cause blackouts in electrical currents and damage electronic devices.
