FOCUS - The first employers who requested this exceptional postponement will receive a proposal for a “personalized” schedule by May.

The time has come to recover, from companies that can, social contributions whose payment has been postponed to facilitate their cash flow last year, in the midst of a health crisis.

The first employers who requested this exceptional postponement between March and June 2020, during the first confinement, will receive by May a proposal for a

"personalized"

schedule

- which can extend over a maximum of 36 months - , to regularize their situation.

Three options are available to them.

If the employer considers that the schedule is appropriate, he will therefore have to pay the amounts on the dates indicated by Urssaf.

Otherwise, he can

“renegotiate the duration, the amount of the installments and the date of implementation of the payment”

via his online account, indicates the Urssaf.

Finally, if the financial situation of his company is still too fragile because of the restrictive measures to contain the pandemic, the employer can ask to receive a payment schedule later.

"Susceptible"

"This first wave of sending proposals for deadlines does not concern employers identified as the most vulnerable,"

said the organization.

Clearly, companies that are still

"likely"

to benefit from exemptions or help with the payment of their contributions, or those which carry out their activity in mountain areas hit hard by health restrictions this winter

, are not concerned

.

It should be noted that, last month, the executive quantified the cost for the State of these outright exemptions from social contributions owed by companies at 3.9 billion euros for 2020, but the total amount n 'is not yet stopped and has a good chance of climbing a little more.
