The legacy of the late great polymath Yasser Al-Maleh, including rare volumes and a comprehensive music library, and his output over more than 50 years, written, audiovisual and visual, has become in the custody of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts after his wife, the writer, Amal Khodorki, presented it as a gift to the house in order to benefit the Syrians who are interested and specialized in these works.

In a statement to Sana, the writer Khadraki said that the huge cultural, artistic, literary and musical legacy that the late left must benefit from the new Syrian generation, especially as it includes various branches of knowledge, and from here was the choice of Dar Al-Assad as an ancient cultural edifice and because of its many cultural activities and diversity of pioneers to embrace this The legacy, where the administrators of the house welcomed this step and cooperated greatly to complete it.

The library, donated according to Khadraki, includes two rare volumes on masterpieces of Islamic art and Arab archeology in Spain, and an ancient index according to alphabetical letters of ancient songs of late singers whose uncle was the founder of the Syrian theater, Wasfi al-Maleh, in addition to an index of tapes and recorded with old and rare balls.

The dedication also included literary, psychological, religious, and musical books and magazines, his television and radio production since he was 17 years old to 80 years old, a comprehensive foreign and Arab music library in a variety, and written social, literary, musical and educational lectures he presented in cultural centers and forums in Damascus and the provinces, studies and research work on them, including a complete file on calligraphy. Al-Arabi includes documenting the names of calligraphers, examples of their works, and forms of calligraphy, in addition to books he authored and books jointly with the writer Khoudarki.

The wife of the deceased expressed her happiness because the party that embraced this legacy is a public institution so that the largest number of interested people can benefit from it, explaining that the late was an encyclopedic human who had the moral and creative qualities and love for all people. .

Regarding her relationship with the late, she showed that she was his student and owned part of his creativity, in addition to their enjoyment of similar talents and thinking, which created common denominators between them, pointing out that he was a donor who does not get bored and hates laziness, and his slogan in life says "Master your work defeats your enemy" in addition to his respect for time.

The writer Khadraki talked about the most prominent creative stations that bore the fingerprint of Al-Maleh, the most important of which is the educational program for children, "Open Sesame," which was called this name and worked in it for the book, not to mention the educational programs devoted to teaching the Arabic language, including Abjad Hawes and dozens of children's songs and cartoon programs that he wrote.

In the field of music, she explained that he devoted a space of his work in this field through the Musical Listening Club and during the 13 years he documented, explained and analyzed the Syrian, Arab and foreign songs and hosted specialists in this field and presented them to the audience within an atmosphere of aesthetics, musical knowledge and psychological comfort, confirming that the late Al-Maleh was a scholar Literature, thought and music, wishing that many creative, encompassing, and knowledgeable people would emerge in Syria.

It is noteworthy that the late Yasser Al-Maleh was born in 1933 and holds a BA in the Arabic language from Damascus University and held several educational and educational positions inside and outside Syria and directed many plays, the most important of which is something that has a price and a wife from there and in the field of television, the seller of melodies and candles of hope and a passport and has many books, including a book Cinema and its impact on modern education, radio and television, and contemporary, classical and colloquial literary creation on radio and television in the Arab world.
