Mulled wine, champagne, smoked salmon, oysters and even caviar: that's “To go” on the Wiesse lake promenade.
The team from the Fischerei-Bistro has reopened its stand.
Bad Wiessee
- despite the lockdown: On the Wiesse lake promenade there is again mulled wine, champagne, smoked salmon, oysters and even caviar.
The team from the fishing bistro at the Aquadome is allowed to reopen its stand at the jetty.
“As a pure to-go business,” explains Seppi Maier, who looks after the stand with Marco Fleissner and Nikolaus von Preysing.
In other words, customers pick up what they have ordered 50 meters from the stand.
A security service is hired for the weekend to ensure that the intervals are observed.
This is absolutely necessary: around 200 customers come on good days.
"80 percent are regulars," says Maier.
But also walkers can spontaneously indulge in fine delicacies with a suitable drop.
Approval for six weeks
The idea was already well received in the Advent season.
But with the tightening of the Corona regulations, the stand had to close.
"But now we have received approval from the municipality and the district office," says Maier happily.
It is valid for six weeks.
Maier hopes that afterwards the gastronomy and thus the bistro will be able to reopen.
The stand is open daily from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
