"
Daragon, we are going to make you as a Pôle Emploi

Allah Akbar

"
The concern and support that I expressed towards the family of the victim and the staff of Pôle Emploi cannot be tainted by this odious parallel
," the mayor of Valence said indignantly in a statement.
The elected official lodged a complaint, to which the prefect of Drôme joined, indicates the town hall.
"
This is the fifth time that we have discovered this kind of tags, but it is the first time that these death threats echo the drama of Pôle Emploi that we have experienced head-on in Valence
", testifies to
Figaro
Nicolas Daragon, who specifies that this series of tags appeared in December, "
in a specific neighborhood
", while the town hall decided to sanction the families of juvenile delinquents by removing municipal and social aid.
Apart from the mayor of the city, municipal police officers are also targeted by these tags, which mention their name and their supposed city of residence.
"
It is the authority which is attacked and flouted, which is why the sanctions must be exemplary
", continues the mayor, who, as president of the association of mayors of Drôme, deplores that "
this kind of facts and violence have been repeated regularly against mayors lately
”.
Nicolas Daragon says he has received many messages of support from “
mayors all over France and many of our fellow citizens
” on social networks.
“
Because he dares to be firm, Nicolas Daragon is threatened with death.
He has courage and all my support.
We must stop backing away from these delinquents,
”said the president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region Laurent Wauquiez (LR) on Twitter.
"
Once again, a mayor totally invested in his city and its inhabitants, threatened, it is intolerable
", indignant for his part the president of the Departmental Council of Drôme, Marie-Pierre Mouton.
Under the hashtag # TOUCHEPASÀMONMAIRE, a petition was launched to provide support to “the many elected officials who are victims
of such violence on a daily basis
”.
