The "Made in Syria" exhibition, which is specialized in exporting clothing and textiles, in which more than 360 companies participate and in the presence of more than a thousand visitors, witnessed a great activity on its second day, as a number of Arab merchants confirmed that Syrian clothing enjoys great popularity in their markets and compete with foreign product in quality and price.

Imad Talib, a clothing merchant from Basra Governorate, Iraq, confirmed in a statement to SANA that the exhibition contains high-quality goods and many varieties that compete with foreign goods in the markets of his country, and that the Iraqi citizen is requesting Syrian goods because of their good reputation, indicating that he bought sets for holidays and some clothes In addition to that, he contracted with a company from Aleppo to provide a variety of its products.

Karim Saleh Tabour, an Iraqi clothing merchant, “My Sons and Daughters,” indicated that the exhibition witnessed a remarkable improvement and development over the previous years, as the Syrian merchandise proved its ability to compete and surpassed a number of goods in the Iraqi market in terms of material and sewing method.

Abdul Razzaq Abdullah Al-Maliki, "an Iraqi clothing trader," said that the goods in the exhibition are varied and meet all merchants' requests in terms of quality, indicating that the Syrian market always offers new items and designs.

In turn, Hamid Abdul Latif, a "underwear merchant" from Basra, pointed out that he has been working in the trade of cotton underwear for 25 years and has been importing them from Syria for 12 years because of its excellent reputation in the Iraqi market in terms of quality of cotton and industry, pointing out that Syrian goods have a good reputation. Very much, but the conditions that the region went through prevented it from reaching the Iraqi market frequently, but it began to gradually return to what it was previously with the development it advanced in terms of cotton and model.

While Osama Karim Nayef, a clothes merchant from Baghdad, thanked the Syrian government for the facilities it provided to Iraqi merchants, pointing out that the exhibition this year presented new distinctive models, explaining that the reputation of Syrian goods precedes them to Iraq and competes with international brands in terms of quality and price, and that the Iraqi people demand Syrian goods. Specifically, in addition to the Syrian industrialists ’dealings with Iraqi merchants, it reflects mutual trust.

Jumah Idris from Libya, a "clothes dealer", indicated that he visits the exhibition on an annual basis and watches the development in the Syrian industry, pointing out that the Syrian goods are distinguished from their counterparts of foreign goods presented in his place in Libya and the Libyan citizen when he sees the Syrian brand accepts it and prefers it to other goods when he enjoys It has a high quality and outstanding reputation.

Ahmed Idris from Libya confirmed that he dispensed with visiting many countries to buy clothes and settled for buying Syrian goods because of its high quality and reasonable price, noting that it is easy to deal with Syrian merchants in selling and adhering to the dates of delivery of goods.
