Just the right weather for a few tough dogs to go surfing - but a serious danger for the homeless.

February brought us minus twelve degrees on Friday, which sometimes felt like minus 20 degrees in a strong wind.
While some prefer to snuggle up in their warm blankets at home, many Munich residents are drawn to the outdoors precisely because of the weather.
They just think the cold is cool.

The sight of the surfers in Munich's Eisbach left many spectators shivering.
Double-digit minus degrees?
They don't know anything!
Like Lisa (33), a sales employee who loved to leave her home office and throw herself into the wave.
"It's fine in a thick wetsuit," she said with a laugh.
“It's also much colder outside than in the water, that's four degrees.” Lisa actually surfs in the sea in warm countries, and has been riding the waves on the Eisbach for a year and a half.
“At least that's a small replacement and it's also fun.
And then you feel intoxicated the whole day, simply good! "

He usually surfs in the sea, the Eisbach has been his "substitute drug" for about a year.
“But there are often too many people here for me.
