The White House announced today that the US administration has no “communication plans” with the Saudi regime.

White House spokeswoman Jane Psaki said in the daily press conference that "no call has been planned with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman," adding: "It is clear that there is a review of our policy as it relates to Saudi Arabia, I don't know of any contact plans with her."

Foreign Policy magazine reported that many groups in the United States are calling on US President Joe Biden to cancel billions of dollars in arms deals with Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

"Biden's first foreign policy step represented a 180-degree shift in relations with Saudi Arabia, as he cut off military support to it in Yemen and froze arms deals with it," the magazine said, adding that "Progressive groups in the United States welcomed all these steps, but they see that they are not enough there." Forty groups and a large number of influential individuals demanded that Biden permanently cancel billions of dollars of arms deals with Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The magazine stated that a letter sent to the US administration contained "a call for Biden to cancel 28 arms deals for the Gulf states, valued at $ 36.5 billion, including F-35 fighters for the UAE and bombs for Saudi Arabia used in Yemen."

Biden called on the fourth of this month to "end the ongoing war" in Yemen, declaring his intention to put an end to his country's support for the Saudi aggression coalition and US arms sales to it, as the Saudi regime, with the support of the United States and its allies, has launched an aggression against the Yemeni people since March 2015, leaving tens of Thousands of victims and massive damage to the country's infrastructure.
