Today, the World Health Organization revealed a serious problem related to new strains of the emerging corona virus that will exacerbate the severity of the epidemic.
"The World Health Organization has data indicating the presence of patients who were infected with new strains of the Corona virus after they recovered from the Corona virus, despite the presence of antibodies to the virus in their bodies," Sputnik news agency quoted the organization’s chief scientist Sumya Swaminathan as saying in a testimony she made today. Reports of re-infection with a new strain of the virus, and there are initial reports from South Africa indicating that people who have already recovered may be infected again.
Swaminathan added that at present, studies are being conducted on the amount of immunity to the virus in people who have already contracted the disease, yet among those vaccinated, the vast majority carry the virus only mildly.
The World Health Organization had previously called for more research on "Covid 19" disease and attention to those who suffer from it and rehabilitate them despite the scarcity of information about why some of the recovered people continue to suffer after passing the acute stage of it.
