At the beginning of the year, parts of the financial market are like they were in the Wild West.
First Wall Street experienced a major attack by private investors, and most recently the price of Bitcoin, the most important crypto currency, fell apart.
One of the drivers: the investment of Elon Musk's car company Tesla over 1.5 billion dollars.
In total, investors have already bunkered around $ 1,000 billion in cyber currencies - making them a real factor on the global capital market.
Nevertheless, a few crucial questions remain unanswered: Are we actually witnessing the birth of a new world currency?
Or just the rise of a new speculative object?
And do private individuals and companies have to deal intensively with cryptocurrencies - or can they leave that to the regulators?
The mm experts Mark Böschen and Christian Schütte discuss and inform about this with mm editor-in-chief Sven Clausen in this podcast.
