The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 42 deaths and 609 new infections with the new Corona virus during the last 24 hours.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, the ministry’s spokesman, stated that the total number of infections that were recorded in Egypt with the virus reached 172,602, while the number of deaths reached 9,899.
Mujahid indicated that 508 recovered people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 134,215 cases.
