Fire broke out in a residential building on King Saul Street in the city • A 35-year-old man was seriously injured by smoke inhalation • 7 other people were injured in the incident, their condition is light • A man was rescued from the building without consciousness

Eight people were injured in a fire that broke out today (Saturday) in a residential building on King Shaul Street in Beit She'an.

One of the wounded, a 35-year-old man, was seriously injured.

The rest of the wounded are in a light condition.

Freedoms and paramedics from Magen David Adom who arrived at the scene of the fire provided medical treatment to the injured, who were injured by smoke inhalation.

Five of the injured were evacuated to Haemek Hospital in Afula.

An MDA helicopter was launched into the arena.

Simultaneously with the medical treatment, three teams of firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire to put out the fire that broke out at the scene.

The fighters rescued five trapped people from the building, one of whom was rescued while unconscious and transferred to local medical officials.
