A man was assaulted Friday evening in Paris by four men who stole two computers, containing three million bank data

They hunt in groups and are very violent.

This team of fake police officers did not hesitate to beat a motorist on Friday evening in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris (16th century) before stealing all of his valuables.

At around 7:40 p.m. on avenue de l'Hippodrome, a couple was in a car parked by the side of the road.

Four men appear out of nowhere, wearing "Police" armbands.

They are armed with telescopic batons and tear gas spray.

Hooded criminals grab the victims and force them out of the vehicle.

The man tries to resist and takes a series of blows from the baton all over his body.

The imposters seize his Tag Heuer watch.

The thugs also get their hands on two laptops, containing three million bank details.

The thieves also stole the victims' phones and their identification documents.

The quartet quickly fled in one direction and by unknown means.

Taken to hospital with suspected broken leg

The couple manages to sound the alarm and the police and firefighters arrive quickly.

"The man suffers from bruises all over his body and rescuers suspect the presence of a fracture in the left leg," said a source close to the case.

He was transported to the Georges-Pompidou hospital.

The woman who accompanied him was not assaulted.

But she is in shock.

She was also taken to the hospital.

Investigators from the 16th arrondissement police station are responsible for further investigating this case.

They are currently waiting for the victims to come and file complaints.

Attacks on bogus police officers are a classic way to surprise victims.

Was this couple targeted to seize sensitive data that was in computers?

"The question may arise," notes an official.

But most of the time these thugs are looking for easy money and will sell the computer for a few hundred euros without worrying about its contents.

More classically, the criminals also took his watch.

Police worried about watch theft

The theft of luxury watches is an endemic problem in the capital where attacks multiply involving very violent gangs.

The latest example, Friday evening three young people, aged 19 to 25, were imprisoned by the court awaiting trial, after having tried two days earlier to steal a Rolex in the XXth arrondissement.
