Increase in the number of vaccinators in the sector, where the infection rate dropped to 0.77, the lowest ever • Today: The Corona Cabinet convenes, and the struggle to open trade resumes

The Corona Cabinet will convene today (Sunday), and the Ministry of Health will continue to insist on not anticipating the planned reliefs that will begin on 23.2, which will continue the battle for trade opening.

Positive news: The infection rate in the ultra-Orthodox sector has dropped to its lowest level since the outbreak of the epidemic - 0.77.

As part of the restrictions, the street shops will be opened without a green sign, and grades 5-6 and 11-12 in bordered yellow, green and orange localities will return to study.

In addition, gyms, recovering gyms, cultural and sports events, museums, malls and Big Centers will be open to the vaccinated and recovering.

The Commerce Forum of Israel was held today to open the malls and shopping centers and said that "the various businesses will be opened all over the country at their discretion - at a time and time convenient to them, when we all return to the purple mark rules.

In blue and white, they intend to demand trade facilitation tomorrow.

The gyms will open

"The decline in numbers we are seeing now is probably a combination of vaccine and quarantine results. However, ten days have not yet passed since the quarantine was opened and the consequences of this move cannot be seen. In order to maintain success, immunization must be increased among adults but also young people." Says Prof. Shlomo Winker, head of the medical division at Leumit, and adds: "The numbers of difficult patients continue to be worrying, there is no room for complacency."

Following the approval of the facilitation plan and the expectation to open gyms in a week and a half, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said: "The gyms will open soon. In your small decision you will decide whether to be part of the celebration or stay behind: just give a shoulder to the vaccine."

The Minister of Health's calls in recent days that those who have not been vaccinated will not be included in the green label outline and will not be able to enter places such as gyms and shows, have led to a slight increase in recent days in the number of vaccinated.

The number of Israelis who received the first vaccine dose is 3,820,505, which is 41.46 percent of all Israelis.

The number of Israelis vaccinated in the second dose is 2,453,631, which is 26.63 percent of all Israelis.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health last night published a snapshot of the spread of the corona virus.

According to the data, 1,368 new carriers were identified yesterday which was 8.3 percent out of 16,457 tests.

However, the decline in the number of patients in Israeli hospitals continued, and relief was felt in the various departments.

The number of people hospitalized stands at 1,540, of whom 992 are in critical condition.

Of the patients in critical condition, 296 were respiratory and 388 were in critical condition.

Additional data showed that the infection rate in the ultra-Orthodox sector dropped to 0.77, which is its lowest level ever.

This is a lower coefficient of infection at the moment compared to the other sectors in Israel, with the overall coefficient of infection standing at 0.88.

The infection rate in the Arab sector is 1.
