During the Capitol riots: The phone call between Trump and the leader of the House of Representatives
CNN has revealed new details from a conversation the former president had with Congressman Kevin McCarthy at a time when Trump supporters are storming the Mishkan.
"I guess these people are more disappointed than you in the election results," Trump said in a conversation, following McCarthy's request to stop the riot.

Former United States President Donald Trump has said in a phone call to the Republican leader in the House of Representatives that he assumes his supporters who stormed the Capitol on January 6 are more disappointed with him than the election results, CNN reported tonight (Saturday) revealing new details about the dramatic phone call.
"Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more troubled by the election than you are," Trump said, according to lawmakers who were briefed on the subsequent conversation by Kevin McCarthy.
McCarthy insisted that the rioters are Trump's supporters and urged Trump to stop them.
