Manufacturers are demanding that an employee who can be vaccinated be released and chosen not to do so. The president of the Manufacturers' Association, Dr. Ron Tomer, urgently appealed to the ministers of health, economy and industry and finance to take a series of actions to protect workers from the corona.
Among other things, the union requires that corona tests be required every 72 hours for an employee who can, but chooses not to be vaccinated - outside working hours, deny payment of isolation fees at the expense of the employer who chooses not to be vaccinated.
At the same time, the Manufacturers' Association, the Ministry of Health, Alon Headquarters and MDA have agreed on a joint initiative for vaccinations in the field, free of charge, of employees of industrial companies and high-tech companies throughout the country. The only threshold condition is 100 vaccinators in an industrial company, or in an industrial area. The Manufacturers' Association coordinates the registration for vaccination, and from today (Saturday) companies can register for the operation, and within a few days they will receive a vaccine mobile that will vaccinate the company.
The President of the Manufacturers' Association and the Chairman of the Presidency of Employers and Businesses, Dr. Ron Tomer, stated: "As employers and as manufacturers, it is our duty to protect our employees and the supply chain. "So billions of shekels for days of isolation, without talking about the harm to work. Employers can not and should not continue to absorb it, so everything is being done to protect our workers and allow the economy to work alongside the corona and get the economy out of the crisis."
