An active shopping movement to take advantage of the offers and discounts offered, the monthly shopping festival (Made in Syria) organized by the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside in cooperation with the Sweida Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Al-Bassel Hall in the city.

A number of citizens spoke with a SANA reporter about their impressions of the festival, in which companies offer discounts between 15 and 35 percent, as the two sisters, Fouz and Yara Shliwit, indicated that the festival is an opportunity to obtain a product with high quality and lower prices than the market, while Suhail Abdo considered that the prices are good and encouraging and goods. Hayam Azza described the festival as a good organization, as it constitutes an opportunity to shop from the agent or manufacturers and get to know the items and products for each.

The participating Syrian companies seek to present their products and introduce them and encourage them to buy them through offers, discounts or gifts, according to Mutasim Jarbou, sales manager of a consortium and foodstuff company, pointing out that their participation is the first and is an opportunity to introduce the customer to the products and taste them.

Samir Muhanna, owner of a factory for underwear and cotton clothing, and Tawfiq Ghanem, owner of a shoe factory, show that all of their company's products are local industries without any imported materials, indicating that there is a remarkable demand for them by citizens who find in the festival an opportunity to obtain a product of high quality and competitive prices.

According to Majd Naim, a representative of a food company, there are many offers by merging some items with each other and offering gifts, pointing out that there is an active movement of citizens inside the festival.

Emphasizing on its positive intervention in the market by placing all the required materials and at a more affordable price, the Syrian branch of trade in Sweida is participating in the largest outlet within the festival, according to the director of the Syrian branch of trade in As-Suwayda Asif Haider, where all food, electrical, household and detergents were participated in at lower prices than the market.

Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Sweida, Fadi Masoud, in turn, explained that there is a follow-up to the existing prices and the powers of the items offered for sale, pointing out that through the tour, the products are of high quality and at competitive prices.

The activities of the monthly shopping festival Made in Syria, which was launched on the 8th of this month, in Al-Basel Sports Hall in the city of Sweida, will continue until the 16th of this month, with the participation of more than a hundred national industrial companies that include the food, textile and chemical industrial sectors and provide a variety of commodities.
