In New Zealand this morning (Sunday) three local cases of Corona were reported - for the first time since January, in which a tourist returning to his country was diagnosed as positive for the virus after violating the closure.

New Zealand Corona Minister Chris Hippkins responded to the report by saying that the three new cases had been discovered in the family, a couple of parents and their daughter, Auckland residents.

The new cases have led New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden to return to the capital Wellington and forgo participation in the Auckland Pride Parade, which she was scheduled to attend this morning.

"Our system has gone into action," Arden said at a news conference.

"We are collecting all the data as quickly as possible, and the system that has served us so well in the past is about to do it again."

New Zealand, which has been "corona-free" for more than two months until the incident that appeared in January, begins vaccinating its five million citizens on February 20 in Pfizer's vaccine doses.
