Following the publication of the video that caused a stir:
A 40-year-old resident of Taibeh turned himself in to the police this evening (Sunday) on suspicion of sexual assault in the lobby of the building in Netanya.
He was transferred for questioning, and tomorrow he will be brought before a judge at the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva.
The police are asking for the public's help in the man suspected of sexual assault in Netanya
As you may recall, from last week the police were looking for him.
A video circulated on social media shows the man walking after a woman into the lobby of a building in Netanya.
In the video he is seen following the woman until she reaches the elevator and waiting for her to arrive.
So the man attacks her and is seen committing an indecent act on her.
He then leaves the place.
The serious incident, which occurred early last week, was recorded on the building’s security cameras. The woman filed a complaint with the police and as stated the police are trying to locate the assaulting man.
