At nearly 3 am on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year (February 16), a man fell from the height of a building at 459-461 Hennessy Road in Causeway Bay and lay in a back alley.
Rescuers arrived and confirmed that the victim was clearly dead.
As part of the stump fell on the platform, firefighters had to climb a ladder to clean up.
The police confirmed that the deceased's name was Leung (59 years old). It is believed that he fell from the roof and his suicide note was seized. It was learned that the victim was troubled by financial problems. An autopsy will be conducted later to determine the cause of death.
According to sources, the victim worked as a manager at a bank in Wan Chai and had a son with his ex-wife. After divorce, he rented a house on the site alone.

Before the incident, he and his friend went home after supper and sent a suicide note to the friend via WhatsApp to reveal his death. Although the friend immediately called the police and rushed to the above address, he regretted that it was counterproductive in the end.
