Sweida-Sana
The Technical Services Directorate in Sweida governorate set up an agricultural road in the village of Kafr Lahef in the governorate countryside, after it was leveled and equipped with the remains of quarries.
The head of the Kafr al-Lahef municipality, Nawras Abu Fakhr, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent today that the aforementioned road, which is more than 600 meters long, serves the farmers' access to their lands planted with fruit trees of an area of one thousand acres, which benefit from the agricultural well of Al-Mukarramah.
Abu Fakhr pointed out that this road also helps in facilitating the movement of fire trucks in the event of any fire, stressing the need to link this road during the coming period to the Hajj road connecting the city of As-Suwayda and an ancient town.
The village of Kafr al-Lahf is located in the northwestern countryside of As-Suwayda, 17 kilometers from the governorate center.
