There was a slight decrease today in the number of patients hospitalized - according to data from the Ministry of Health published tonight (Monday).
According to the data, the number of patients hospitalized at this time stands at 1,516, with the number of hospitalized in critical condition standing at 979, of whom 307 are respirators and 389 are defined as critically ill.
This is a slight decrease in the number of patients, which yesterday stood at 1,548 people.
A further decrease was recorded in the number of medical staff members who are in isolation, which currently stands at 1,492, of whom 88 are doctors and 413 nurses.
The Ministry of Health also announced that 3,450 new verified viruses were identified yesterday, which is 7.6% out of a total of 45,693 tests performed.
Today (midnight to 5pm) 3,565 verified people were located, which is 8.3% out of 42,728 respondents.
This is a renewed increase in the percentage of positive tests, after a number of days of a declining trend in the percentage of verified.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 729,373 people have been infected with the virus in Israel.
The number of patients currently active is 53,975.
The number of people killed in the plague is 5,406, with 35 more people dying from Corona since yesterday.
It should be noted that the mortality rate is slow compared to January, when it stood at 40 deaths or more per day.
Almost four million Israelis have already been vaccinated with the first vaccine dose (3,951,270 people), ie 42.88% of all Israelis.
The number of people who received the second vaccine dose is 2,575,114 - which is 27.95% of all Israelis.
