A member of the European Parliament for Czechia Katrjina Konichna confirmed that the Turkish regime led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan occupying the lands of other countries is a flagrant violation of international law.
In an article on the Czech Aidnes website, Konicna indicated that Erdogan took Turkey big steps back, pointing to his repressive practices against his opponents.
She emphasized that the system does not abide by international agreements and works against the interests of the European Union, warning against unilateral and illegal actions it is carrying out in the eastern Mediterranean that affect the sovereignty of several countries, including Greece and Cyprus.
Konichna had previously called for sanctions against the Turkish regime due to its aggressive practices in the region and its blackmailing of the European Union with the issue of migrants.
