Iran has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency that it will begin restricting access to its inspectors next week, Tehran's representative in the organization, Kazem Garibabadi, wrote tonight (Monday) in a tweet on the social network Twitter.
"The decision of the Iranian parliament will be upheld on time and the International Atomic Energy Agency was notified today, in order to ensure a smooth transition to the new regulatory path when the time comes. After all, gestures of goodwill lead to more such gestures," the Iranian representative wrote.
The Iranian legislation passed by extremist conservatives in the Iranian parliament following the assassination of Iranian nuclear chief Mohsin Fahrizda has ruled out a series of violations of the nuclear deal Iran signed with the six major powers and a dramatic reduction in the International Atomic Energy Agency's oversight of nuclear facilities.
