A thrilling accident occurred in Tuen Mun where a private car shoveled a bus stop.
At about 11:16 pm on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year (February 15), a white BMW private car was driving along the Castle Peak Road-Tai Lam section towards Kowloon.
On the way to the left turn near the roundabout off Aegean Bay on Tsing Fat Street, he suddenly lost control and shoveled the footpath, crashed into a bus stop, swept the bus stop sign, electric box and benches, and rushed back into the road.
According to sources, there were four men and women waiting for the bus at the bus stop. Everyone evaded in terror. Although they were not knocked down, they were all injured. It is reported that someone was hit by a bus stop bench that hit the bus.
Rescuers arrived and found 2 men and 2 women (25-30 years old) injured. They were all sober and sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment. Among them, a man named Cai (28 years old) and a woman named Zhang (26 years old) were more injured. Heavy, the scene also left big beach blood stains.
As for the private car involved, the male driver named Li (30 years old) and the two female passengers were not injured. They were present to assist in the investigation afterwards.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
