The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the international community’s failure to shoulder its responsibilities towards the Palestinian people encourages the Israeli occupation to continue its crimes.

The Foreign Ministry clarified in a statement today quoted by Wafa Agency that despite the International Criminal Court declaring its jurisdiction over the occupied Palestinian territories and expectations to open an investigation soon into the occupation crimes against the Palestinians, the occupation escalates its attacks by seizing large areas of Palestinian lands and expanding settlements, which leads to the final closing of the door to any An opportunity to establish an independent, viable, geographically connected Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
