Yesterday (Sunday), the Israeli police arrested a Palestinian resident of Hebron, on suspicion of sexually harassing minors in a public park in Herzliya.
He will be brought today for a hearing on the extension of his detention in the Magistrate's Court in Tel Aviv.
Police opened an investigation yesterday, receiving complaints from the parents of three minors, ages 7-6.
They said that while their daughters were playing in a public park, near Ilanot Street in Herzliya, a man approached them, sexually harassed them and showed them pictures of a sexual nature from his cell phone.
A policeman from the Glilot station, who was not on duty at the time and was at the scene, responded quickly and arrested the suspect, with the help of another citizen who was in the area, until a police car arrived at the scene.
