In his speech in Mulhouse on March 25, 2020, delivered from a military field hospital, the President of the Republic explained to us that we were at war against the Covid-19 virus.
We believed that the State, fed by the highest compulsory contributions in Europe, would do everything possible to win this war quickly, especially since it imposed incredible sacrifices on the population.
The least we can say is that victory is long overdue.
