Hasaka-Sana
The first screenings of films dedicated to the (Syrian Cinema Days) event held by the General Film Organization were launched in the two Arab cultural centers in the cities of Hasaka and Qamishli today.
The four-day event in which two shows are presented daily, morning and evening in the cultural centers of Al-Hasakah, Qamishli and Deir Ezzor, where the film (Damascus Aleppo) directed by Basil Al-Khatib was shown on the first day.
Culture Director Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that all films from this event are shown at the same time in these cultural centers with the aim of encouraging the public to follow the new developments of Syrian cinema, especially since Hasaka lacks cinemas, and it is necessary to reconnect the audience with what the seventh art creates in Syria. Time of war, indicating that all offers are free.
The head of the Arab Cultural Center in Qamishli, Faiza Al-Qadri, pointed out the importance of showing films to the public in Qamishli and revitalizing this important cultural aspect after the maintenance of the center's main hall, which went out of service as a result of a part of the center being exposed to fire last year.
And from the audience, Iman Al-Ahmad and Wadah Al-Ali spoke about touching these films, which presented during the event the experiences of many Syrians during the years of war, noting that Syrian cinema is characterized by realism and objectivity, and the fans of Hasaka are eager to follow them.
In addition to today's movie, and over the next three days, there will be films (Dam Al Nakhl), (Judicial Response) by Nagda Ismail Anzour, and (Solo Performance) by Abdel Latif Abdel Hamid.
