Multiple episodes of sexual assault on girls circulated on the Internet caused an uproar among netizens.
According to the footage, the scene was Su Uk Village in Sham Shui Po. The scammer followed and photographed the girl in the parking lot and park in the village. Some footage showed that he touched the girl's private parts in the corner, and even had more heinous sexual assault.
There is no clear shooting date for the clip, but there is a mainland communication software QQ account and a Telegram group watermark, which is linked to a group of shared porn clips in simplified Chinese characters.
It is reported that the police took the initiative to investigate the relevant footage. After Sham Shui Po Police District detectives checked the footage, it is believed that it was a fragment of an old case in September last year, in which a 29-year-old man was arrested.
Police said the arrested man was temporarily charged with five counts and will be brought to court next week.

The sexual assault episode of a girl in Su Uk Village involves an old case.
On September 1st last year, a 29-year-old man surnamed Ye followed a 13-year-old girl back to his residence in Kwai Chung. After entering 𨋢, he claimed that he wanted to take pictures of his school badge and lure the girl to the stairs. He picked up the school badge on the girl’s chest and tried to take pictures. In school skirts, the girl escaped.
Two days after receiving the report, the police arrested Ye Nan in Kwai Chung and found about 400 video or photo files related to child pornography on his mobile phone, some of which were downloaded online.
Ye Nan used his mobile phone to take pictures of the crime. It is estimated that at least 4 cases were involved, and the victims were between 9 and 16 years old.

The police said today (15th) that after further investigation by officers from the Second Team of the Kwai Tsing District Crime Squad, the arrested man was temporarily charged with three counts of indecent assault on September 5 last year, and one charge for persons under 16 years of age. The crime of committing indecent acts by children and one crime of producing and possessing child pornography will appear in West Kowloon Magistracy next Tuesday (23rd).
According to the police, the arrested man has been remanded in custody of the Correctional Services Department.
According to police investigations, it is believed that the arrested man was involved in multiple cases of the same type in Kwai Chung, Wong Tai Sin and Sham Shui Po in May and July last year, and noticed that the relevant video had been circulated.
The police reiterated that once convicted of publishing child pornography, the maximum penalty is a fine of 2 million yuan and imprisonment for 8 years; and the maximum penalty for possession of child pornography is a fine of 1 million yuan and imprisonment for 5 years. The public should not try the law on their own.
In September 2020, the Kwai Tsing Police District arrested a child molester, involved in four crimes, and assaulted a 9-year-old girl in the stairs.
