A thrilling car accident occurred in Tuen Mun where a private car shoveling a bus stop hit a passer-by.

At about 11 pm on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year (February 15), a private car was driving along the Castle Peak Road-Tai Lam section towards Kowloon.

When approaching a left turn near the roundabout off Aegean Bay on Tsing Fat Street, he ran out of control and shoveled the footpath, crashed into a bus stop, swept away the bus stop signs, electric boxes and benches, and rushed back into the road.

According to sources, there were four men and women waiting for the bus at the bus stop. They were caught off guard and were hit by a bench at the bus stop.

Rescuers arrived at the report and found 2 men and 2 women who were injured. They were all awake at the time and all were sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment. It is reported that one of the men was seriously injured and blood stains were left at the scene.

The male driver and the two female passengers of the private car involved were not injured.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
