The strong will and unlimited tender characteristic of a group of wounded Syrian Arab Army and auxiliary forces, who, with patience and challenge, were able to make out of their wounds a window looking towards the future to realize their dreams and establish their own project.

The beginning of the idea was years ago when the wounded decided to establish recreational activities that enhance communication between them, to develop at a later stage the idea of ​​establishing a team they called “Love and Loyalty”, a sign of the love that unites them and the loyalty that each of them has for the other, according to the founder of the wounded team Ali Hormuz.

According to Hormuz, the team launched a small project that enables them to secure a material income and work commensurate with their health and financial ability, so the idea of ​​a small wood workshop that does not need a large capital was where a small shop was rented in Al-Murooj neighborhood in Banias city to display their production of decorative pieces made of wood and cactuses.

Hormuz explained to SANA, Tourism and Society, that the workshop began with seven wounded who spent their time producing a set of wooden pieces to display in their shop, stressing that work is continuing to develop their project, which is still in its early stages.

The injury of the wounded Bashar Freiha in his eyes does not allow him to perform accurate work because his vision is weak, but he helps his teammates with sales operations, according to him, pointing out that the team has a special page on Facebook also through which it is marketed and requests are received by customers in addition to direct sales in the small exhibition.

On the other hand, the wounded, Bassem Youssef, one of the team members, carries an 80 percent disability rate and suffers from the loss of his lower limb, but the work he does is commensurate with his health, according to him, as he uses in his work two types of industrial and natural wood from which he makes some household decorations, paintings, gifts, etc. .

Team members who have harnessed their own skills, each according to their ability, hope that their project will succeed and receive support that will enable them to continue and develop the project.
