According to its own statement, the association “Forum Soziale Inklusion” wants to stand up for men's and fathers rights.
On his homepage, however, he primarily judges women in a disparaging manner.
The Minister for Women Franziska Giffey (SPD), it is said at one point, is spreading "hysteria with unrealistic propaganda" about domestic violence in times of Corona.
Nevertheless, the men's rights association should be funded with 400,000 euros in 2021 (read more here).
However, the money has not yet been approved - because Giffey's ministry is opposed to it.
Your house is responsible for the association, but according to a spokeswoman, it was not included when the funds were distributed in the budget by the grand coalition in December.
Since then, the Ministry of Women has been able to withhold approval.
"So far there is no verifiable project application from the FSI," said a spokeswoman for SPIEGEL.
"A decision on funding cannot therefore be made at this point in time."
The funds for the men's club were included in a funding plan of the grand coalition.
In the case of funding, however, the applicable legal principles must be observed, according to the Ministry of Women.
One of these foundations is the gender equality funding guidelines from December 16 last year.
Among other things, it stipulates that associations that want to be funded must have the goal of »promoting equality between women and men and enabling equal opportunities«.
This does not seem to be the case with the men's club - the ministry holds out the applicants.
Lisi Maier, Deputy Head of the German Women's Council, says the association appears moderate, "but a look behind the scenes shows that the chairman radically rejects the federal government's gender equality policy and attacks the relevant actors," said Maier.
