Double blow against the clans of the 'Ndrangheta in Calabria.
In Reggio Calabria, a vast operation by the Carabinieri of the provincial command of Reggio Calabria is underway for the execution of precautionary custody measures against numerous people accused, for various reasons, of mafia-type association, aggravated extortion, fraudulent transfer of assets.
The operation hit the central "district" of the 'Ndrangheta.
The State Police, on the other hand, is carrying out an operation to carry out 17 precautionary measures against as many people belonging to or close to the Forastefano 'ndrangheta clan, whose criminal activities are concentrated in the Sibaritide. The crimes charged to the persons involved in the operation are, for various reasons, criminal association of a mafia type, money laundering, extortion and fictitious registration of assets. The agents are also carrying out some seizures of companies and businesses.
