A2a: buys photovoltaic plants in Italy for 205 million

A2a acquired from Octopus Renewables a portfolio of 17 photovoltaic plants with a nominal power of 173 MW for a consideration of 205 million euros. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - MILAN, FEBRUARY 15 - A2a has acquired from OctopusRenewables a portfolio of 17 photovoltaic plants with a nominal power of 173 MW for a consideration of 205 million euros.

The asset is the largest portfolio, without GSE incentives, of plants in Italy, of which 9 are located in Lazio and 8 in Sardinia.

The operation, which according to the CEO Renato Mazzoncini consolidates "the position of second operator in renewables by capacity installed in Italy", is subject to the approval of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers pursuant to the Golden Power decree.
