In 2020 free agency

Tom Brady

decided to cut work ties with the Patriots after 20 years in the organization and six championship rings.

Now,

Bruce Arians reveals one of the reasons for the divorce.

In an interview with

Inside the NFL,

Showtime, the head coach of the Buccaneers assured that

Brady left New England to take off the yoke of Billo Belichick and try to win the championship under another system.

"I think his competitive spirit is so strong that he wanted to do it. He wanted to show people.

I've never said a bad thing about Bill Belichick;

I know everyone is trying to say he did it. His record speaks for him. I probably think he's the best. of all time.

But I think Brady wants to try something different,

"he said.

Ultimately, the gamble paid off for the Michigan product.

In his first year at Tampa

(including playoffs).

Arians, enemy of Belichick?

Despite the fact that the Buccaneers coach said he was not at odds with the Patriots head coach,

"He let him be him. In New England they didn't let him be a coach. I let him be," he

said at the time.
