The Orange teams are mobilized to restore the fixed and mobile networks in the Gigors-et-Lozeron area, following damage caused by an act of vandalism,
" the group wrote in a press release.
According to him, the fire caused “
great damage
” to the building and the equipment of the dispatcher, also called the subscriber connection node.
Around 500 customers of the Orange mobile network are deprived of service and around 30 for the fixed network and Internet.
The gendarmerie is responsible for the investigation.
Numerous arson fires have targeted telephone installations, in particular relay antennas, in France in recent months.
