Will travel over Easter be possible despite the corona pandemic?
Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann provides an outlook for the people in Bavaria.
Nuremberg - pack your suitcase, get into the car or train and spend the night away - when will this be possible again despite Corona *?
Vacation trips are not allowed due to the current measures.
However, there is hope for a vacation - more precisely, for Easter vacation.
Bavaria's Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann (CSU) considers traveling over Easter to be realistic despite the corona pandemic.
Domestic tourism is “quite conceivable” at the beginning of April, said Herrmann at a press conference of the Franconian Tourism Association on Tuesday (February 16) in Nuremberg *.
"Our goal must be that restaurants and hotels are open again at Easter."

Association makes demands on Markus Söder
The interior minister also emphasized that the number of corona infections has already dropped significantly in numerous Bavarian regions.
The numbers could decline even further by Easter in six weeks.
The federal and state governments have agreed to include restaurants and hotels in the next steps.
The Berchtesgaden-Königssee Tourist Region Association is also calling for perspectives in this context.
"We are firmly convinced and very emphatic that we should seriously consider easing all businesses in the accommodation, gastronomy and leisure sector for Easter 2021," says an open letter to Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU).
If the number of infections continues to fall and remain in the low range, a short holiday at Easter might well be possible - at least when it comes to domestic travel.
