First vaccines arrive in the Dominican Republic

The president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, announced that the vaccination will begin this Tuesday, February 16 at the Ramón De Lara Hospital of the Air Force.

This Monday, the president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, reported through a statement that the first doses of the covid-19 vaccine arrived in the country.

The vaccines come from India, manufactured under license from AstraZeneca, the president reported.

Abinader said that 110 kilos of the vaccine arrived, but did not indicate the exact number of doses.
