The Association of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon emphasized the importance of resistance as the only option to liberate what remains of the occupied lands in the Kafr Shuba hills and the Shebaa farms.
In a statement, the gathering stressed the adherence to the resistance to protect Lebanon from the Zionist ambitions within the army, people and resistance trilogy.
Internally, the gathering called for the necessity of reaching a political agreement that takes into account the interests of Lebanon and the Lebanese, without other narrow external or internal interests.
In turn, the excellent Jaafari Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Kabalan, affirmed adherence to the resistance and made sacrifices to liberate Lebanon, rejecting foreign interference in Lebanese internal affairs.
In a statement on the occasion of the Martyrs' Leaders Day, Qabalan said that the resistance, with the triad of the army, the people, and the resistance, came to liberate and protect Lebanon's sovereignty, its institutions and its common coexistence, noting the sacrifices of the resistance to push the country towards sovereignty and independence.
Qabalan called for forming a national unity government as soon as possible and moving away from external forces and their interference in Lebanon's affairs.
For his part, member of the Al-Wafa'a Resistance Bloc, Hassan Ezz El-Din, affirmed that the resistance has proven its efficiency, ability, strength and readiness at any moment in which Lebanon is exposed to any Israeli aggression, and it is today stronger than it was.
Ezz El-Din said in a speech in Sidon today that the resistance is proceeding in its path and approach, and today it has become a school and a model for all free and resistance fighters in the world because it was able to protect Lebanon, its wealth, stability, security, oil and water.
Izz al-Din stressed the adherence to the option of resistance that imposed one equation after the other, so that he would remain concerned and captive to the resistance initiative, which is linked in contact with Palestine, which we will not abandon because it is the central issue of this nation.
