The workshops of the Gardens Directorate in Damascus Governorate have begun rehabilitation work on the Bab Al Musalla roundabout to be in a new look during the coming period, as part of the governorate’s plan to beautify gardens and public squares.
The rehabilitation work included transporting and planting plants at the field gate, plowing and leveling the soil, and laying a modern irrigation network, according to the director of gardens in the governorate, Engineer Naboug Beiruti, in a statement to SANA's correspondent, indicating that after that, they will be planted with green meadows (cuns), ornamental plants and flowering and colorful annuals, and coordinating them to give the aesthetic view color and shape.
Beiruti pointed out that the workshops have also begun to rehabilitate Moncef Beirut Street, starting from Victoria Bridge to the President's Bridge and rehabilitate Al-Wahda Park in Mezze, where the works included the extension of a modern irrigation network and the cultivation of the green lawn around the children's playground, stressing that these works come within the work plan set to increase the areas Green, improving the environmental reality and rehabilitating parks that are an outlet for citizens.
