A young woman in her thirties fell from the window of her apartment on the fourth floor of a building in downtown Bordeaux on Tuesday, report our colleagues from
South West.

this Wednesday, February 17 by the departmental direction of public security of the Gironde (DDSP) and by Frédérique Porterie, the prosecutor of the Republic of Bordeaux.
A man was arrested and taken into custody.

It was in an apartment on rue Rousselle, in the Saint-Paul district in Bordeaux, that the drama took place on Tuesday in the middle of the afternoon.
Passers-by first heard screams before seeing the young woman fall from her window, according to the prosecution.
If the emergency services intervened quickly, they could only note the death of the thirty-something.

The police immediately cordoned off the area and a crew from the Bordeaux anti-crime brigade (Bac) arrested a man in the apartment.

the latter could be the victim's companion.
Information that has not been confirmed at this time, neither the prosecution nor the DDSP.

The man was also taken into custody in the evening.
